Torba Bodrum Turkey
Torba.. nice and easy
Torba is located on the north of Bodrum peninsula and very close to Bodrum center,
only 6 km. Torba is a small sea-side village nestled in a bowl of olive groves and pine
forests. The bay is secluded and the sea very calm and clean. It has a sandy and pebbly
beach.
If you are lucky, you might see a sea turtle or a Mediterranean monk seal (Monachus
Monachus) which are also local residents of the area. Mediterranean monk seals are
very rare and one of the most endangered mammals in the world.
There are a couple of very good traditional restaurants, many featuring freshly grilled
seafood and a range of authentic Turkish mezes. Torba is only 10 minutes away from
Bodrum center by minibuses (dolmus).
