Torba.. nice and easy

Torba is located on the north of Bodrum peninsula and very close to Bodrum center,
only 6 km. Torba is a small sea-side village nestled in a bowl of olive groves and pine
forests. The bay is secluded and the sea very calm and clean. It has a sandy and pebbly
beach.

If you are lucky, you might see a sea turtle or a Mediterranean monk seal ( Monachus
Monachus ) which are also local residents of the area. Mediterranean monk seals are
very rare and one of the most endangered mammals in the world.

There are a couple of very good traditional restaurants, many featuring freshly grilled
seafood and a range of authentic Turkish mezes. Torba is only 10 minutes away from
Bodrum center by minibuses ( dolmus ).
