Golturkbuku.. green and blue

Golturbuku, is located on the north of Bodrum peninsula 22 kms from Bodrum center. Golturkbuku, or Golbuk, was created by combining two neighboring places, Golkoy
( ancient Karyanda ) and Turkbuku ( ancient Madrasa ).

Today, some tombs carved on rocks would be interesting to explore and also water cisterns belonging the more recent history are another the point of interest. There is a small private museum displaying historical figurines which can be visited, by appointment (252) 377 62 23.

Golturkbuku is very green, there are beautiful pine forests on the hills and tangerine trees
lower down. Along the beach, there are small jetties on which people sunbathe and relax.
It is a very popular place for Turkish celebrities and artists. Prices can be a little above the
Bodrum average too.

Golturkbuku is only 20 minutes away from Bodrum center by minibuses ( dolmus ).
