Akyarlar.. warm sea and cool breezes

Akyarlar is located just 22 kms from Bodrum and is the southernmost point of the
Bodrum peninsula. It has a nice bay with shallow and warm waters. Once it was a small
fishing village and in recent years it has become a pretty spot to visit. In the village
a couple of well-kept traditional Bodrum houses can be seen.

Akyarlar is the closest place to Island Kos, the distance is a little less than 3 miles.
There are small cafes and restaurants along the beach to enjoy.

Akyarlar is only half an hour away from Bodrum center by minibuses ( dolmus )
